The rest of the time, you can prepare your trekking gears.

Day 03 : Drive from Kathmandu to Syange (1100m/3,597 ft), estimated 9 hours.

We begin our long drive to Syange early in the morning. During the journey, we get to enjoy the countryside of Nepal with its green hills, winding rivers, terraced farms and of course the beautiful Himalayas. And overnight at the Guesthouse.

Day 04 : Trek from Syange to Dharapani (1,960m/6,409 ft), 7 hours

We enter Manang district after crossing a large bridge near Tal. The trail passes through barley, rice and potato fields; and the waterfalls continue to accompany us even today. We also pass through the village of Kodo before reaching Dharapani which is one of the biggest villages in the Manang valley. Overnight in Dharapani.

Day 05 : Trek from Dharapani to Chame Bazaar (2630m), 6 hours

During our hiking today, we pass Bagarchhap village which is the first truly Tibetan style village we will come across with flat, firewood covered roofs, and prayer flags blowing in the wind. Then trek goes over the rough hill with quite a bit of up and down, crossing the river several times on good bridges. Reaching the town of Chame, one of the larger settlements of the area will allow us to have a hot shower. Chame is the administrative headquarters for the Manang area and is also known for its healing thermal baths and interesting architecture.

Day 06 : Trek from Chame to Pisang (3190m), 5 hours

Today, we will have a shorter hiking day ahead of us. The landscape between Chame and Pisang changes notably, and soon we will be walking through subalpine terrain which is an Alpine interface. The early part of today’s walk will take us through large forests and past the massive, 1500-meter rock face called Paungda Danda. Pisang proper is a cluster of homes with a few nice lodges and plenty of activity in the fields.

Day 07 : Trek to Manang (3500m)(Lower Route 5 hours) or 8 hours (Higher Route)

There are two trekking trail to reach Manang. We choose the higher route through Upper Pisang via Geru as it guarantees outstanding views of Mt. Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and others. But it depends upon your fitness because walking over higher routes takes roughly about 9 hours to reach Manang while the lower route rates only 8 hours. As you are getting closer to Manang, the climate becomes more cold and dry. However, a short visit to Barge Monastery, the biggest monastery of Manang District should cheer us up. Overnight in Manang.

Day 08 : Acclimatization ! Or discovering Manang

It is essential to spend time for acclimatization in this area. There are splendid views of the peaks from both Manang and Braga villages. Manang is a large village situated on a rise immediately across the huge Gangapurna glacier. A beautiful emerald lake lies at its foot. There are plenty of good walks in the area and for at least a couple of hours, you can try to climb as high as possible above the village.

Side trips are recommended to a small summit with prayer flags about an hour above Braga village, up the ridge behind Manang village. It is also possible to walk up the valley towards Tilicho Lake to the village of Khangsar. In addition, it is worth visiting the Manang Gompa or, if it is open, visits the clinic run by the (HRA) Himalayan Rescue Association. They often have talked about altitude in the afternoon. There are also shops to explore for souvenirs.

Day 09 : Trek from Manang to Siri Kharka (4060m/15,238 ft), 5 hours

We exit Manang heading out through the western gates and follow the path down to the river. We cross the river and continue walking on its southern side through coniferous forest. After reaching Kangsar Village we walk further up towards Siri Kharka and pass a monastery on the way. The uphill walk could be tiring but we will have Gungang Himal and Mount Chulu in the backdrop to keep us company. Overnight in Siri Kharka guest house.

Day 10: Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp (4140m/13,583ft): 5-6 hours

The trail from Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp is not very steep but physically strenuous. It could be exhausting as we have to walk on narrow paths in loose scree and landslide area. Our trail goes through the middle of the landslide area whereby we can see impressive rock formations along the trail. Stay overnight in Tilicho Base Camp hotel.

Day 11: Hike to Tilicho Lake (4920m/16,088 ft). Descend to Tilicho Base Camp, 8 hours

Walk continue along the journey, leave the lake here and aim for a small saddle in the ridge above. The path is rather steep the first pass Reach and descends to a valley on the other side. Follow it upwards and step on to a flat dry glacier where has no crevasses. Follow its left side upwards, leave it where an obvious saddle westward is visible. Walk over through this watershed, where is a little lake.

Continue ahead on a faint path, lose a little altitude, and then gain another saddle. On the other side, one descends into a small valley that turns south. Coming out of it you can reach the western shore of Tilicho Lake. We spend some time exploring the lake and we descend downhill to Tilicho Base Camp to stay overnight.

Tilicho pass trek route is an adventure high pass trek takes 1 night 2 days to cross after Tlicho lake to Jomsom. Best for camping trek in Nepal to see various wildflowers and testing your body fitness. There are no teahouses until Jomsom Bazaar in Kali Gandaki valley. Young and experienced trekkers can reach Jomsom airport passing Thini Gaon walking about 10 tough hours. Most groups spend two nights between Tilicho lake to Jomsom Bazaar. There are two passes leading to Thini Gaon and Jomsom; Mesokanto La and Tilicho North pass known also as Tilicho “Tourist pass”. According to Gokyo Treks Nepal, both trek routes passing tilicho lake often closed in winter time because of a massive snowfall. Its is very difficult pass comparing to Thorong la.

Day 12: Descend from Tilicho Base camp to Manang village (3,500m), 6 hours

As we leave Tilicho Base Camp we trek downhill to Kangsar and continue towards Yak Kharka and Manang. The trail passes through ancient old Mani walls in a pleasant meadow. Crossing the small river over the wooden bridge, we ascend all the way to Manang where we stayed on our ascending.

Day 13 : Overland drive out from Manang to Besisahar, 9 hours.

After breakfast, We drive out all the downhill from Manang to Besisahar. Stay at hotel.

Day 14 : Drive out to Kathmandu, 6 hours and final departure.
