Day 01: Arrived at Kathmandu valley. Transfer to hotel
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Kakani (1,982m/ 6,481ft). Only 1-hour drive & 1-hour walk
Trek begins after an hour drive Kathmandu city. Here will be wonderful surroundings with Himalayan views of Nepal and many different places for a Day tour in Kakani. Here will be outstanding views of Langtang Himalayan range, Shisa pangma Himalayan range, Annapurna Himalayan range, Gaurishankar himal and Manaslu. Of course, there will be many centuries old local villages around the Kakani. You will have a great option to explore around with their culture and custom. Most of the peoples were farmer around here. They are planting rice, corn, millet, Of course, they produce many different types of Vegetables and fruits during the seasonable. Overnight at Guesthouse
Day 03: Kakani to Shivapuri Bhayenjyang (2,350m/7,685 ft), 5 hours walking
Trek begins after Breakfast, we conduct our trek over Ale danda to Shivapuri hill station passing several hills forest. The journey from Kanai to Shivapuri hills offer magnificent Himalayan landscapes and mystical hills. The journey goes further through rhododendrons forest. This trek even more beautiful on spring months (March and April) as the forest turns into the beautiful colors. Not only this but also it offers one of the best Himalayan scenery of Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lhakpa and Manaslu… etc.
Day 04: Shivapuri to Chisapani (2,215m /7,265 ft), 7 hours walking
Our today’s journey starts with breakfast. It is an easy journey today to get Chisapani hill.
After reaching Borlang bhayenjyang pass, the walk continues on the trail, descending to Chisopani for the overnight stop. Chisapani offers brilliant views of the Jugal mountain range including Langtang, Ganesh in the far east and Manaslu, Annapurna towards far west. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 05: Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot hill (2,195 m/7,178 ft), 6 hours
Trek from Chisopani to Nagarkot leads between the village and forest with the great views of country site and mountain. A famous Nagarkot hill station offers breathtaking Himalayan views, quality accommodation, and high standards in service. Nagarkot is much more away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The best place to see sunset and sunrise over the great Himalayan ranges. During the sunset, you will have one of the best views of Kathmandu valley. Stay overnight in Lodge at Nagarkot.
Day 06: Sunrise view over the Himalayas. Trek to Dhulikhel (2175m / 7,112 fit), 7 hours
Early in the morning to get sunrise view over the tallest Himalayas. If you wish to walk around 4 kilometers in the morning than a hike to Nagarkot view Tower. From here, you can see the breath-taking views of the major mountains like Mt.Manaslu, Mt.Ganesh family, Langtang lirung, Dorje Lakpa, sisa pagma, Cho-oyu, Gauri Shankar, etc. On a clear crystal day, one can even see the Mt. Everest (8848 m) not bigger than a dot on the same range.
After breakfast, we can walk through pine forest alongside road head with an occasional encounter with wild animals. You hike past beautiful countryside, villages (especially of Tamang community), small tea-shops, farmlands etc. The trail passes along Rhonnie Bhanjyang, Kankre, Tanchok witnessing the majestic panorama of the mountains like Dorje Lhakpa, Langtang and Gauri Shankhar. Dhulikhel is also a nice place to explore the glorious Himalayas including beautiful landscapes and terraces.
(Optional day tour – on your way back, you will pass Changunarayan temple which is the oldest temple of Nepal and are listed in world heritage site UNESCO. It is said that Changu Narayan temple have been built by King Hari Dutta in 323 AD. You can explore the culture and history of Changu Narayan temple while on hiking. After sightseeing here, we have lunch and drive back to Kathmandu. This trip consists of about 6 hours altogether).
Day 06: Trek from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha (2175m / 7,112 fit), 7 hours
Today, we walk about four hours passing through amazing view of local villages of Kavre and beautiful rice terraces with up and downs hills and reach to Namo Buddha, a scared Buddhist place. There is an amazing legend related to the Buddha. Lord Buddha saved the life of a tiger dying from hunger, by giving him his flesh. Here you are blessed to watch such peace and incredible Buddha Stupa, commemorated by an ancient stone slab and with the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. You will see Himalchuli, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Mount Everest not more than a dot in a clear sky. Spend your night enjoying the local culture.
Day 07: Namo Buddha down to Panauti Town (1,400m / 4,578 fit), 3 hours
Today, we continue our hike from Namo Buddha hills to the typical Newari village of Panauti bazaar. This is a traditional Newar settlement having rural characters and rich in culture with a large number of fascinating temples. Explore the Panauti valley which is also historically important. In history the myth was, under the ground, there is only one large stone on which Panauti village rests. On the way, you can have an opportunity to visit an interesting wooden temple dedicated to Indreshwor Mahadev which belongs to the fourteenth century. Drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 08: Final departure day
Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. We wish you for your return back to home.
