25 Dec 2019: Kathmandu city World Heritage Tour – Listed by UNESCO, 6 hrs
At morning, our professional tour guide Ammar Guni, myself or any one of our Tourist guide will pick up you at the hotel and escort to the city. We will guide you through the Kathmandu world heritage sites listed by UNESCO in 1979. It is an easy day that you relax with an easy excursion with our professional tourist guide. Our professional tour guide will deliver you the information which will uncover a totally different perspective of Kathmandu.
Swayambhunath Stupa: This is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist pilgrimage sites/stupa and is said to be 2,000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire’s base are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. Swayambhunath is situated in a hillock about 35m above the level of the Kathmandu city as the Kathmandu is located at an altitude of 1350 meter and hence commands an excellent view of the valley.
Kathmandu Durbar Square : It is the historic seat of royalty. Recognized as a Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. Most interesting things to see here are the Kastamandapa Temple, Taleju Temple, Temple of Kalbhairav, Nine storied old Palace and the Temple of Kumari (Living Goddess).
Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath, the temple of Lord Shiva, with two tiered golden roofs and silver door is considered one of the holiest shrines for Hindus. Although only Hindus are allowed inside the temple, visitors can clearly see the temple from the viewpoint across the Bagmati river. Boudhanath stupa: The tallest stupa of Nepal and one of the tallest stupa in the world. Boudhanath Stupa lies about 6 km east of Kathmandu city. This ancient colossal Stupa is one of the centers of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. At evening, we return back to the hotel.
26 Dec 2019: Drive or fly to Pokhara (900 m / 2,943 ft). 4 hours
Better to take flight if you are going to Pokhara during the Monsoon Season. It takes only 25 minutes by flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel. In the afternoon you will be with your trekking Guide to Observe the Natural Beautiful town Pokhara. However, if you are driving to Pokhara by Tourist bus/car, It takes around 7 hours however you will have beautiful landscapes on the way
27 Dec 2019: Drive from Pokhara (915 m.) to Nayapul (1050m.) and Thikhedungha (1,530 m / 5,003 ft). 4 hours
After having breakfast at hotel we start our driving to Nayapul which takes approximately one and half hours. Then we conduct our journey to Tikhedhunga (1577M) Via Birethanti (1065m.). It is easy trekking passing through several small villages and settlements. Afterward, we ascend gently to the final destination of the day. Overnight at Guesthouse.
28 Dec 2019: Trek to upper Ghorepani village (2870 m / 9,385 ft). 5 hours
At the beginning, we have to walk steep up about 2 hours to reach Ulleri (2010m) which can be bit challenging and adventurous. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through the fine forests of oak and rhododendron up to Ghorepani. Overnight at Lodge.
29 Dec 2019: Get Sunrise from Poonhill. Trek to Ghandruk village (1990 m / 6,507 ft), 7 hours
We get up early morning around 5 am and begin our journey to get poon hill station which is located at an altitude of 3210m and takes about one hour. As you are in Poonhill top, you can enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snow-capped mountains in the morning then Hike down to Ghorepani.
After breakfast, we trek to Ghandruk village. During the journey, we trek through Rhododendron forest, the beautiful flower makes the jungle colorful in spring when they bloom. Ghandruk is a beautiful village of Gurung people, an ethnic group of Nepal who has their own culture and language. We can find more information about their ancient lifestyle and customs in the museum. From here, one can see stunning views of Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Fishtail and this village is a major tourist destination of Nepal. Overnight at Guesthouse.
30 Dec 2019: Trek to Deurali hill station (2500m/8,175 ft), 6 hours
After sightseeing around Ghandruk, we descend steeply through green visitation and stone steps, crossing Modi river then gentle walk up to Landruk village than continue our journey to get Deurali hill station. The best place to explore tallest Himalayas and beautiful Pokhara city including Mardi Himal. Overnight at Lodge.
31 Dec 2019: Trek back to Pokhara Fewa lakeside, 6 hours. New Year Eve Celebration
Today, we easy walking down to Dhampus Phedi which takes about 3 or 4 hours. We walk through tiny beautiful Gurung villages to get Baglung Highway. Then catch our private transport to return to Pokhara Fewa lakeside. Overnight at Hotel and Celebrate a New Year Eve.
01 January 2020: New Year celebration in Pokhara
Free for New Year celebration program. Street festival event will be organized in Lakeside Pokhara so everybody can enjoy the festival.
However at afternoon, we go for boating an island to visit Tal Barahi temple than drive further to visit Devi’s fall, Gupteswor Mahadev cave, and Tibetan refugee camp and return the hotel to stay overnight.
02 January 2020: Drive to Kathmandu city
Morning we’ll drive back by cozy Tourist Bus through the scenic countryside and during the route will stop for breakfast & lunch. or drive back with private vehicle (have in mind private vehicle will apply if you are minimum 10 guest). It takes 7 hours back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, the guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the day relax or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at hotel.
03 January 2020: Final departure day
Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you your wonderful journey.

Answer: Christmas New Year Trek Tour is suitable for keen walkers who are able to walk around 3 or 4 hours in a day, with a lightweight daypack. For the soft adventure trekking part, if you have about the little experience it would be better to get more fun.

Answer: We provide you tourist standard accommodation in Kathmandu and during the trekking routes. the rooms along the routes are clean with cozy bed with a nice mattress and blankets. However we recommend you to take your own sleeping bags if you have one with you otherwise, you may rent it while you are in Kathmandu.

Answer: All the guest houses/lodges in Annapurna trekking, they have attached restaurant and they cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian such as Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season)
The dinner and breakfast are provided in the same lodge you spend the night every day and Lunch will be provided on the way to the next place where you are going.

Answer: During Christmas New Year Trek Tour route there are all places hotel and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Instead, we provide you with boiled water or bringing chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available in campsite/along the way.

Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to the gradient, terrain and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however, you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.
